Pudhupettai (2006) Tamil Movie

Synopsis: The movie is about the journey of a kid Kumar from Pudhupettai, a slum in Chennai to being a gangster and a henchman for a political party. The story begins when he returns from school to see his mother murdered by his father and runs away as he senses the danger that his father might kill him too. Away from the care of his mother, Kumar ends up in jail and then goes on to challenge and kill Anbu, the former gangster in the town and takes his position.
